1. Platform Nature
Roofer.city ("Platform", "Company", "we", "us") is a marketing and lead-generation platform that connects property owners ("Users") with independent roofing contractors ("Service Providers").
- We do not provide roofing services.
- We are not contractors or insurers.
- We do not supervise projects.
- We do not guarantee workmanship.
All service agreements are strictly between Users and Service Providers.
2. No Verification or Endorsement
We do not independently verify licenses, insurance coverage, bonding status, certifications, or regulatory compliance of any roofing contractor.
Featured listings, rankings, or badges do not constitute endorsement.
3. Lead Distribution Disclosure
By submitting a request for a quote, Users acknowledge that their information may be shared with one or more roofing contractors.
4. AI & Pricing Disclaimer
The Platform may display estimated roofing costs or project ranges generated by automated systems or AI tools.
- Estimates are informational only.
- They are not binding offers.
- Final pricing is determined by the Service Provider.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Roofer.city shall not be liable for:
- Roof damage
- Leaks or structural failure
- Contractor negligence
- Insurance claim disputes
- Property damage
- Personal injury
- Financial loss
Total liability is limited to $100 or the amount paid to the Platform within the prior 12 months, whichever is less.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Roofer.city from any claims arising out of:
- Your use of the Platform
- Your agreements with Service Providers
- Violation of applicable laws
7. Premium Listings & Subscriptions
- Payments are for advertising exposure only.
- No guarantee of leads or revenue.
- Subscriptions may auto-renew.
- All payments are non-refundable unless explicitly stated.
8. Call Recording Disclosure
Calls placed through tracking numbers may be recorded or monitored for quality assurance, compliance, and fraud prevention.
9. TCPA Consent
By submitting your information, you provide express written consent to receive calls, SMS, and emails, including automated communications. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
10. Arbitration & Class Action Waiver
All disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under AAA rules. Users waive the right to jury trials and participation in class actions.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States.
